02 — About
We’d rather build one tool people open every day than ten they forget.
MetalBack is an independent software company founded in 2026 by Aditya B Arikeri in Karnataka, India. We design, build and run our own products end to end.
Our work starts with a real routine, like a coach tracking a full gym floor or a student turning a two-hour lecture into revision notes, and strips it down to what actually matters.

/01
Focused
Every product does one job and does it properly. No clutter, no features for the sake of a list.
/02
Private by default
We collect only what an app needs to work. We never sell data and we don’t run ads.
/03
Built to last
Fast on cheap phones, usable on patchy Wi-Fi, and maintained long after launch day.
03 — Black & white
Why it’s all black and white.
Metal doesn’t need paint to be strong. MetalBack is the frame, not the picture, so we keep the company raw and unpainted and leave the colour to the products themselves.
#000000
Ground
The space we leave empty, so the work has room.
#FFFFFF
Signal
The only thing we ask you to read.
/01
Nothing to hide behind
Without colour, a page only works if the words and layout are clear. It keeps us honest about what we build.
/02
Readable by everyone
Black and white is the strongest contrast a screen can show: easy to read in sunlight, on cheap phones, and for people with low vision or colour blindness.
/03
Colour belongs to the products
IronCrew and NotRec each have their own colour and personality. The parent stays quiet so its apps can speak.
